It never ceases to amaze me how no matter how well intended, people always want to crush others. Even in the T2D community! As soon as you try to help people, "they" crop up to try and scare you off.
I participated in a T2D forum to try and spread the info and give away the T2DFAK ebook to anyone that wants it . . . and the "guide" warned me about trying to make money from a site. A "guide", by the way, that makes a reported six-figure annual salary "blogging" about her disease.
You know what . . . FUCK YOU. Your "forum" is hosted by a corporation with vested interests, and both they and the "guide" are profiting from people suffering from illness. The "parent" corporation produces a LOT of "sick-care" sites on the web (and the sites don't fully function or have all of the data they "link" to ... they need a real webmaster/developer)!
My site is only trying to help people. I do it all privately, out of my pocket, yet they would deny me even an unsolicited donation! What sad inhuman creatures. In promoting their own agenda (usually supporting the sick-care industry), they do all they can to strangle other, alternative voices. This time, they screwed up. I own my own soapbox. I have a platform, I know how to use it globally, I'm 63, and I don't care who I piss off. They are shills for the "system" and are given their voice by the "system."
They support the "system" websites that spread all the "conventional" (read "wrong") suggestions (read "misinformation").
I quote science, studies, findings, and material from peer-reviewed medical journals . . . . they spew the same, tired crap that most "doctors" spew.
I control my glucose by diet and lifestyle . . . . they promote more and more drugs.
I say that the T2D diagnosis can be reversed . . . . they say it's a progressive disease that will only get worse.
Hmmm . . . Which position would you rather believe?
So, to repeat my initial question. Why is it so hard to help people?!?!?!
