In addition to the multi-vitamin/multi-mineral, add 2,000 IU of vitamin D in the form of vitamin D3 supplement capsule(s). Multi-vitamin capsules typically only contain about 400 IU of vitamin D, far below the 2,000 IU recommended. This is actually not a “vitamin” but a hormone, and one of the most important in the human body. Vitamin D is a “chemical key” that unlocks hundreds of genes that control day-to-day body functions in the body’s brain, heart, immune cells, bones, skin, nerves, blood vessels, etc.
Any quality Vitamin D3 supplement capsules will do. These typically have about 1,000 IU per capsule, so 2 a day will provide the Supplement Regime recommended amount unless you can find a 2,000 IU gel.
I recommend NOW Supplements, Vitamin D3 2000 IU Softgels – 1 daily.

More forward movement! Despite the push against my work, the struggle to help those diagnosed with T2D goes on!
As of today (21 Oct, 2022) the T2D Meals & Recipes site is active and online. It is far from complete, but there's enough "meat on the bones" and content in the pipe that it's ready to open to the public.

I am NOT a diabetes "educator", nor am I a Doctor or any other kind of medical professional, and I do not have any medical credentials . . . Other than a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis.
Anything you read here is either journal entries about my personal struggle with diabetes, reporting on information I've found, providing resources I've found or had to construct for myself, and highlighting other media and such that others struggling with diabetes may find helpful.
I run this site personally. It's not a corporation, a company, or an office with a staff . . . it's just me.
I pay for the hosting, I develop the site, I produce all of the content, and I try to distribute as much information as possible for no cost since the information is life changing and life saving.
Any monies contributed here are appreciated and are applied primarily to the hosting, support, and development of the T2DFAK site. It is not my intention to "get rich" off of my diagnosis.
PayPal donations can be made on any page. You do not need a PayPal account to donate. Any Visa/MasterCard Credit/Debit card is accepted. Payments will show as going to Homeless Bob's Hardware as that is my business PayPal account.
